Brief

Autry at Tulip Grove was designed to celebrate the rich history of Buford, Georgia, while introducing a luxury apartment community with a character all its own. Inspired by the city's legacy as the "Leather City" and its connection to legendary Western figures like Gene Autry and Roy Rogers, the brand blends classic Americana with a refined, contemporary aesthetic. The result is an identity that feels both timeless and elevated, capturing the spirit of craftsmanship, style, and storytelling.

The visual identity takes its cues from custom typography created specifically for the brand. Each letterform was hand drawn before being refined and vectorized, resulting in a distinctive combination of serif and sans serif forms. The sweeping crossbar of the "A" became a defining feature of the identity, inspiring a collection of supporting brand elements, including custom patterns, framing devices, and graphic details that reinforce the brand throughout the system.

The identity was developed to create a memorable and consistent presence across print and digital applications, from leasing materials and marketing collateral to signage and digital communications. Every element works together to tell the property's story, connecting Buford's heritage with a sophisticated brand that feels authentic, distinctive, and built to last.
