Wrike Reporting

Project Management, Analytics, Communication

Brief

As Thompson Thrift's marketing team and portfolio continued to expand, it became increasingly difficult to monitor production capacity, identify bottlenecks, and understand where projects were stalled. Information was spread across individual task lists and notification feeds, making it time-consuming for managers and stakeholders to track workloads, pending reviews, and project status. The goal was to create a centralized reporting system that improved visibility across the production process while supporting faster decision-making.

A suite of custom Wrike dashboards and reports was developed to provide real-time insight into production activity. The reports tracked team workloads, completed work, task creation trends, active projects, approval queues, production timelines, and task status breakdowns. Each dashboard was tailored to a specific audience, giving designers, managers, and leadership immediate access to the information most relevant to their role. By consolidating approvals and active reviews into a single location, the system eliminated the need to sort through dozens of notifications and made it easier to prioritize work across the team.

The reporting system became an essential operational tool for managing the creative department. It improved accountability by making workloads and project status visible across the organization, reduced delays during review and approval cycles, and gave leadership a clear understanding of team capacity and production trends. The result was a more transparent, efficient workflow that supported both day-to-day operations and long-term planning.
